She sent several haiku to this site recently, and I chose this for the New
Year's Day.
I recall a Japanese tradition to pray to the first sunrise of
a year. People clap and press hands in prayer. In that process, there is a
moment that the hands interpose the sun and the fingers become transparent
showing blood color in ...

日本の初日の出を拝む様子が思い浮かびますね。
拍手を打つときはさんだ日光で、指の血の色が透けて見えたりして。
新年が、みなさまにとって佳き年になりますように。
