(as a Japanese man) In their conversation, each of them speak only their native language, and they show the meanings to each other by EL signs. Before explaining the signs, the EL characters are shown. Gesture and non-verbal expressions are welcome to use among EL signs.
交流する人物Ａ （アメリカ人女性）、Ｂ （日本人男性）として上記の「地球語」の略号を用います。彼らはそれぞれ母語しかしゃべりませんが、その意味を互いに地球語手話で示します。手話の説明の前に地球語の文字を表記していますが、手話では手話文字一辺倒でなく、表情、間、ジェスチャーを混ぜて表現豊かに楽しみましょう。

the na-sign is put as glue between them. When showing a two-elements-C-c with
one hand, two ways are considerable depending on which is shown by a hand
shape. I took the one which is closer to the natural gesture for the meaning.
多くの字母の「重ね文字」の手話では、意味がわかりやすい基礎語の組み合わせとして分けて、間につなぎのサインを挟みます。２字母の「重ね文字」のうちどちらの字母を形で表すかは、組み合わせた結果が自然な身振りに近くなるよう選びました。
