    After the Rain ( 地球語太極拳「雨上がり」 )

Nature is the best physician. However city people can't feel nature easily.
Here, becoming parts of nature using EL symbols, you feel  nature  and heal  yourself. This is a short program and easy to memorize.  When you continue every day, it would effect you more and more.     

E-Chi short form, [ After the Rain ]

    In the air after the rain, negative ions increase and work for activating/   refreshing cells of our bodies, scientists say. This E-Chi is going to refresh   you assisted by your deep imaginations of the sky after the rain and lively   plants. Then it fills up your body with joy of being in nature at the end.
It's available to make variety of sentences in EL, but since this is a kind of physical exercise, no grammar symbols are used. It is just a flowing of images.
In the description, the following abbreviations are used:
  l- ( the left ), r- ( the right )
  l-f ( the left foot ), r-f ( the right foot ), l-h ( the left hand ), r-h ( the right hand )
For the direction :
    n ( north: it means your basic front direction; not necessary to be real north ),
  s ( south ),  e ( east ), w ( west )
  ne, nw, se, sw are the middle directions of these abbreviations.
   When a direction abbreviation with l-f/ r-f, it shows which way the  toe is pointed.
For movement:
   W ( weight ),  S( sink )
  T( turn the torso ), Tl( turn to the left ), Tr( turn to the right )

   Sequence of 'After the Rain':
This is just the order of this form. For more detail of the basic movements, please see the corner about E-Chi.

1. Starting stand:
      Relax and stand. W on both feet( n ); imagine that your feet  have roots deeply catching the earth ---
      Shift W onto r-f and S --- Step toward the left side with l-f(  n ) --- W on both feet --- Shift W onto l-f ---
2. Rain {( nature ), ( water )}: rain
    2-1 Rain in the north ; following this, the rain goes in other three directions too :
     l-f S and hung down r-h to the left above l-knee ; Sign 59with r-h for ( water ).
    While moving the signed r-h gradually up and down drawing shape starting from l-edge, shift W onto r-f; r-h reaches to the right above r-knee. Hung l-h down just naturally while r-h is moving.
       ---  r-f W; Change r-f direction to ( e ) at the  same place ( Tr ), and S ---  
  2-2 Rain in the  east :
    Move l-f to parallel with r-f ( e ) with your shoulder width distance:  now both feet are toward ( e ); hung down  l-h  to the right above  r-knee signing --- Move it up  and down drawing   shape starting from r-edge this time, while gradually shift W onto l-f.  --- As the symmetrical way of 2-1,  l-f W; Change l-f direction to (  s ) at the same place ( Tr ), and S ---
  2-3 Rain in the south :
      Move r-f to parallel with l-f ( s ) with your shoulder width  distance: now both feet are toward ( s ) --- Do the same thing to 2-1 facing  to ( s ) -- r-f W -- Change r-f direction to ( w ) at the same place, and  S ---
    2-4 Rain in the west :
      Move l-f to parallel with r-f ( w ) with your shoulder width  distance: now both feet are toward ( w ) --- Do the same thing to 2-2 facing  to ( w ) ecxept the end --- l-f W and S ---
3. Stop {    ( denied ),(   go  )}: stop ( to go )
  Extend r-arm to n-above, signing 21 with r-h for .
    While large stepping back with r-f  to behind l-f, changing  the r-f direction to ( n )( Tr to n ), move the   signed r-h diagonally down to draw    --  shift W to r-f -- bring l-f next to r-f ( both are toward  n ) ---  W on both the feet just like the starting form ---
4. The Sky     { ( nature  ), ( space )}:   sky
    S and hung down both arms, signing 37   for   with each  hand, touching thumbs each other --  While l-f ( n ) stepps back and  gradually putting W onto it, open between both hands horizontally to draw  the bottom line of   with both hands  --- Gradually shift W onto r-f ( n ) and return onto l-f( n ), while both hands draw the curved lines of both sides of   . Hold the signs  till completion of   drawing. Now the hands are at your eye level ---
5. Open    : opened ( sky-opend: sky cleared )
  Changing the both hand signs into  44   for   ( opened ). Fingers in this sign are closer at first and gradually opened outer to show the meaning better. During the time, gradually shift W onto r-f ( n ) and return  to l-f --- 
6. The Sun    { ( globe ),   }( as a picture-like character ): the sun
      Change l-h sign into 33   for ( globe )  at the same position and hung r-arm down naturally, shifting W onto r-f ---  Step large diagonaly forward with l-f ( nw ) and shift W oto it, while drawing  the reverse shape of    with the globe signed l-h ( l-h movement is  l-r counter of r-h ). Imagine the sun after the rain looking at the hand sign ---
7. Grass   {,   ( plant )}( as a picture-like character ): grass(es)
      l-f ( nw ) S, hunging both arms down --- Step diagonally forward with r-f( ne )( T to ne ), while signing 23   with each of both hands connecting together at the very low position ( Be  sure straighten the fingers and keep the openning between fingers up. If not the meaning of the sign might change ) --- Slowly lift up both signed hands together till they reach to the chest level, while gradually shifting W onto r-f. This is for drawing the bottom straight line of   compounding with   sign. --- Gradually bring up the hands widening between them for drawing  the curved lines of   with both hands, while returning W onto l-f --- Shift the direction of r-f into ( n ) at the same position --- Shift W onto r-f ( n ) slowly hanging both arms down naturally --- Step to nw-diagonally front with I-f ( as nw ) --- Repeat the Grass part of form toward nw --- Bring l-f just next to r-f ( n ), while put the arms down --- Make W even on both parallel feet ( n ) ---

8. Tree { , ( plant )}( as a picture-like character ): tree
    Sink deeply imagining that your feet take long roots in the ground --- Sign 37 with each hand at the very low level --- Extra slowly pul them straightly up till reaching to the chest level, imagining the tree trunk growing( what ever kind of tree you like ), while gradually straitening the legs ---  Bring up the signed hands widening between them for drawing the curved lines of with both hands, imagining the tree branches and leaves: now you are the growing tree. Legs and torso are straightened but still entire soles are still catching the ground with the roots --- S, while naturally putting the hand down in front of Tantien ( a inch lower than the navel; entire power of movements comes from here ) ---
9. flower { ,( heart )}( as  a picture-like character ):  flower
  Opened : opened
Change r-f ( n ) to ( ne ) --- Sifting W onto r-f, T to ( ne ). Sign 68 for with each hand touching with the pinkies --- Move the arms like 8 for , but with signed hands, width between hands when its widened is less than the tree(8) case, and toward ( ne ) --- Ending to draw , S with r-f (ne ) --- Change the hand signs into 44 for ( opened ) with closer fingers at first, during S with r-f( ne ) again --- Gradually open outer the fingers and kick on the air with l-f toward ( ne ) --- Tl and put l-f down toward ( nw ) --- Sift W onto l-f ( nw ) and repeat [ flower ][ open ] movement toward ( nw ) reversing l-f and r-f ---
For the parts of 'grasses','tree','flowers', you can repeat more times toward other directions for each as you like, imagining a broad flower field or forest.
10. {  ( heart ), }= joy, happy
Step back with r-f( n ) which was kicking position before --- Change the sign of each hand  into 68in front of shoulders --- While shifting W onto r-f( n ) and stepping back with l-f( n ), then shifting W onto l-f, slowly draw shapes symmetrically openning the distance with both 'heart' signed hands, feeling much joy ---
11. {  ( accept ), (  happiness )}: gratitude, 'Thank you'
Change l-h sign into 47( this is a vessel shape to accept something ) and keep r-h sign 68 ( heart ) in front of each shoulder --- While shifting onto r-f( n ) very slowly, draw shape with 'heart' signed r-h only, thanking nature. Here tree signs were compounded at once to show . --- Put l-f next to r-f ---
12. Finishing:
W evenly on both feet( n ), and naturally and calmly hung the arms and hands down.

「地球語太極拳」
  地球語太極拳は、太極拳の動きと、地球語のイメージ力を組み合わせた瞑想体操です。大自然の中で私たちは癒されますが、都会生活では自然を感じにくいですね。地球語の記号でイメージを呼び、体の隅々まで自然を満たそうとします。
 伝統太極拳が動きに集中して心を無にするのに対し、地球語太極拳では、全身でイメージした自然と一体になりながら太極拳と同様の効果を得ます。伝統太極拳はおぼえにくいですが、これは記号を頼りにすぐに記憶できる短編です。毎日くりかえすことで癒しの効果が育ちます。
     動きの注意:
・胴体を常に直方体に保って曲げたりねじったりしない。

・動きの中心は常に丹田(臍の少し下)から:
 手、腕、肩はリラックスし、丹田に力をこめる腹式呼吸によって押したり引いたりする。

・重心を置く足はしっかりと根をおろし、地球のエネルギーを全身に汲みあげる気持ちで大地をつかむ。超スローに重心を移動しながら体の中で活性化する部分が移る感覚を味わう。動きは少なく遅くても、この方法では大きな運動力を要し、体がすぐにあたたまる。

・頭は空から釣り下がっているような気持ちで胴体の動きに連なる。

・手の形は意味を持つので、力まないで正確に。そしてその象徴するイメージをふくらませ、自分の体がそのイメージになりきるのにまかせる。

・正面を北と決め(実際の北でなくてよい)、足は中心から四方または八方の方角にのみ向けて踏み出す。
ショートフォーム「雨上がり」
雨上がりには空気中のマイナス・イオンが増加して細胞の活性を高めるといわれています。雨上がりの空、太陽、草、樹、花をイメージし、ゆっくりとそれらになります。そして喜びと感謝を湧かせてしめくくるのがこのプログラムです。あまり場所を取らなくてできるので、長く座りつづけたあとなどこれで元気を取り戻しましょう。
説明文では、次のようにアルファベットの略記号を用いています:
左右: l- ( the left左 ), r- ( the right右 )
      l-f ( 左足), r-f ( 右足), l-h ( 左手 ), r-h ( 右手 )
方角: n ( north/ front 正面・北), s ( south 南), e ( east 東), w ( west  西),
       ne (北東), nw (北西), se (南東), sw (南西)
   これらの方向がl-f, r-fのあとにつづくときは、つま先が向く方向を示します。
