Highway 120 is scenic with forests, domes, lakes and meadows. Up the road more than 3000 meter elevation, Toulumne Meadows lies in the north eastern part of Yosemite Park. The stream has cold and clear water. Close here, there was a soda spring. The taste was like mineral sparkling sweet soda.
１２０号線でヨセミテを横切ると、森、花崗岩のドーム、湖、草原と、すばらしい景観が続きます。標高３０００メートルを越える草原ではカンカン照りでもほどよい暑さ、小川のせせらぎは冷たく澄み切っています。ここの近くにぼこぼこと炭酸泉が湧き出ているところがあり、底は鉄分で真っ赤、天然ミネラルウォーター！手で掬って味わってみると、甘みがあり、ほんとにソーダ水のようでした。

See the white spots in my back. Snow is seen on the 3500~4000 m high mountains around there! Angelica and wild garlic were in blossom and scattering their spring smell around a little stream. But also large white mushrooms were under pine trees. Spring and fall seasons seem to come here together and otherwise it's mostly in winter here. What am I doing? The sword of my Tai-Chi is sucking up the nature spirit.
３５００〜４０００ｍの山の窪みには残雪が輝いています。小川沿いには、アンジェリカや野生のガーリックが咲き、春の香りを散らしているのに、松林の下では、なんと大きな茸がもこもこ頭をもたげています。たぶんカリフォルニアでマツタキと俗に呼ばれている松茸のそっくりさんではないかしら。指をくわえて通り過ぎました。ここでは春と秋が一緒にやってきてたちまちまた冬の雪に閉ざされてしまうのだとわかりました。写真は、私の太極剣の剣に大自然の気を吸わせているところです。
